As the assembly is typically fixtured and registered, gathering accurate data about geometry, performance or electrical properties can be easily accomplished. |

Automated welding generally refers to articulated robots that manipulate custom MIG/TIG or PLASMA tools. However, there are a number of other welding-type processes that are amenable to automated assembly. We have collected a summary of these technologies in the attached list. |
